How can I subscribe to the service ?

To subscribe to the service please contact your Atradius Account Manager if you are already an insured customer, or alternatively call us on 0800 21 21 31. 

How do I get onto the Observa News Serv@Net site?

Observa News is accessed via Serv@Net. Simply log in with your normal details and select - Atradius Observa News from the menu.

How do I define which companies I'd like to be monitored?

Once you have subscribed to the service all you need to do is choose which companies you want to monitor.

From the Observa News Serv@Net site, select the companies you would like us to monitor on your behalf using the ‘Company Search' screen. Please fill in as many company details as you have. When a correct match is found all you need to

do is click the ‘subscribe' button.

How is the information provided ?

You can choose how you want to receive the information in our Serv@Net system.

You can receive alert e mails when an alert event is triggered.

You will also receive a weekly e mail to summarise the news activity of the week.

You can also access captured news articles and other alert information via Serv@Net and the company overview screen

Can I switch off email alerts whenever I want to?

Email alerts can be switched off in the settings screen in Serv@Net, by selecting the ‘No emails' option. This setting will become effective immediately, thereby avoiding any potential information overload being sent to you.

Who decides what is ‘good news' and what is ‘bad news' ?

‘Good news' and ‘bad news' is determined by the content of the news articles.  Sophisticated sentiment analysis software is used to ‘read' the articles and determine whether the content is positive or negative.

How can I find out the source of the news article ?

The source of the news article is displayed in the Company News Bulletin

What if I cannot view the original article?

Some of the captured news articles will come from restricted websites where you need to either subscribe or register with your details to view them. A summary of the most significant extracts from the original article will always be created and displayed in a pop-up message in front of the original web page. We also provide the web address of the original article in the event that you wish to subscribe/register directly to view it.

What if I've found a news article that you haven't?

In this instance, please contact your Account Manager. We monitor over 7,000 different news sources multiple times per day, but we're happy to add new sources if you think they are relevant.

Can I monitor organisations other than my existing buyers or clients?

It is possible to monitor any organisation that you can find in the Atradius database. Potential uses for Observa News include not only the monitoring of buyers, but also competitors, suppliers and prospects.

How is the service charged ?

The service is charged as a flat annual fee of £24 per company that is monitored (reduced rate of £16 for Atradius insured customers). The benefit if an annual monitoring fee is that you do not have to pay to view each individual article. Invoices will be raised at the end of each month when you subscribe to the service
