Shared Principles

The basics of a successful - and enjoyable - business are sometimes so obvious that they are not always explicitly reflected in the day to day activities.  That’s why Atradius has made a point of spelling out the principles that all of our employees live by.  Some may seem obvious, but it’s good to remind ourselves – and our customers – of the standards we set for ourselves. In fact, our shared principles have grown naturally from the respect that we show each of our colleagues and our customers.

We work together.  In a multinational organisation like Atradius it’s vital that we understand and respect differences in cultures.  It’s also true that working together we achieve much more for our customers than if we each worked in isolation.

We are professional.  That goes without saying.  Our customers expect and deserve a high level of service from Atradius, wherever in the organisation and wherever in the world that service comes from.  Our professional standards ensure that those expectations are always met and often exceeded.

We value everyone’s individual contribution.  Everyone at Atradius contributes to the success of the company. Therefore we strive to nurture a collaborative work environment where everyone’s input is valued and respected.

We take responsibility. Atradius thrives on the high level of competencies of its staff, which is reflected in our attitude and quality of our work and the services we deliver. We expect our people to take pride in what they do, and to do it to the best of their ability. 

We are ambitious. Ambitious for the company, because of course we want to be the best in the business.  And ambitious for ourselves too.  Nobody in Atradius accepts either mediocrity or unethical behaviour, and everyone thrives on innovation and positive change.
