Pricing and Regulatory Actuary - (Atradius Re - Dublin)
This is a broad ranging appointment for an experienced non-life
insurance/reinsurance actuary who is able to deliver across a range of
technical areas, including pricing, solvency and capital management.
The successful candidate should have a signing certificate in place, or
expect to attain one within 12 months. The post will be located in Dublin.
Function
The key responsibilities of the role are:
Non Group Business Requirements (Inwards Re)
- Assisting the Underwriting Department in pricing reviews and technical analysis
- Assisting with the pricing of non-proportional and proportional Inwards treaties
- Management and control of Exposure reporting and accumulations
- Management of “Earnings Process” and related technical modelling
- Responsible for production of detailed portfolio performance analysis
- Responsible for review and production of technical variance analysis
- Assistance in Special risk pricing and facultative transactions
- Reviewing and managing earning pattern and modelling assumptions
Skill Profile
- Signing Certificate, or expect to attain one within 12 months
- Ideally with experience in non life reinsurance
- Highly numerate and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project/task planning skills
- Strong interpersonal skills

developing internal and external reinsurance portfolio. There are 25
staff based in the IFSC, Dublin, servicing over 40 countries worldwide

our team of underwriters in Dublin. The mix of business between our
Group and Non Group activities is in the region of 60% to 40%.

is strategically positioned to access all markets across Europe. The
company has authorisations across the world, most recently obtaining
authorisations in Brazil, Argentina and Bolivia. The company is a
leader within a niche market providing structured reinsurance
programmes to start up and developing companies in emerging markets in
Asia and Latin America. The company provides regulatory support and
access to the Group in many jurisdictions and typically is the first
footprint of the Group within emerging markets.
